Reporting to the Sr External Reporting Manager, the six-month term position for Sr Analyst, External Reporting is responsible for external financial reporting in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), Accounting Principles Generally Accepted in the US (US GAAP) and securities commissions’ requirements in both Canada and the US. The most significant aspect of this position involves preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements and related footnotes for the financial statements distributed outside the company. This position is also responsible for the preparation of Nutrien’s Management Discussion and Analysis, in accordance with securities commissions’ requirements in Canada and the US. This position may also assist with other special projects such as purchase price allocations associated with mergers and acquisitions.
The Sr Analyst, External Reporting will collaborate with individuals in various departments and across the company’s international operations. Effective communicate with process owners is essential to ensure disclosures meet the highest standards.
