    The primary function of the Sales Representative is to provide support to the Canadian Sales team and Senior Director Canadian Sales through analytical and administrative activities. The Sales Representative is the main source for sales data, weekly reporting and adhoc requests that get disseminated within the Canadian Ag team, to various other departments and external parties when required. By handling administrative, logistical and supply functions for National Accounts, the Sales Representative allows Sales Managers to have more time with their customers and provide faster and more accurate responses to requests.  

    Position reports to Sr. Director, Sales, Canada 

    Key Tasks:

    • Weekly, monthly and adhoc reporting through HANA, SAP, MSS and BexAnalyzer to provide the Canadian Sales team with accurate, timely data
    • Tracking and verifying commitments on a system and source point level through HANA and SAP to ensure sales goals are reached and production is not oversold.
    • Disseminate and answering product sourcing/availability questions by working with Supply Managers, attending weekly meetings and using SAP/MSS. This ensures customers are able to ship contracts promptly and from the most logical source point available
    • Entering contracts in SAP and tracking MSS commitments to ensure there is an accurate record of agreed price, volume, terms and shipping window
    • Management of contracts in SAP/MSS to ensure product is shipped ratably. By monitoring contracts, it ensures that both customers and Nutrien are doing their part to execute and changes to contracts are only offered when appropriate.

    Skills:

    • Strong understanding of internal operating systems (SAP, MSS, HANA) to extract data, as we all excel to manipulate data into valuable/reliable reports
    • An understanding of the Canadian market, National accounts and various groups within Nutrien. Understanding of other departments can come through previous roles within Nutrien or through graduation from the Market in Training program 

    Qualifications:

    • An undergraduate degree is required, with preference towards Agriculture and/or Commerce
    • 6 - 8 years previous administrative or analytic experience within Sales or experience supporting a Sales group
