    One of four Superintendents reporting to the Assistant General Manager.

    Key Tasks:

    • Responsible for the direction and management of the Mine Maintenance Department in order to achieve required standards in safety, employee relations, production, maintenance execution and cost-effective utilization of resources available.

    • Collaborates daily with the Mine Operations and Planning Departments to ensure safe production and maintenance.

    Skills:

    • Superior communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to manage conflict and influence others.

    • Proven leadership abilities - promote accountability within the Mine Maintenance team,  foster a supportive and motivating work environment.

    • Time and priority management.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor of Science in related engineering discipline or the equivalent in combined education and experience.

    • 10 years of progressively responsible experience in an industrial maintenance environment including project management and maintenance execution.
