    Reporting to the Director, IT Business Services Management; the Senior Manager of IT Asset and Vendor Services will oversee a team of professionals responsible for the contractual management of our managed service providers, providing IT leadership with key vendor reporting, coordinate management of our IT assets, and provide purchase-to-pay support for hardware, software, and services transactions. This role serves the IT organization which is accountable for delivering world-class IT services, support, and thought leadership to the Nutrien organization.

    Core Responsibilities:

    • Serves as the key point of contact with IT’s major managed services providers, coordinating with their account leads on contract compliance, amendments, and overall relationship health and performance
    • Conduit between IT leadership and managed service providers on strategic direction, business opportunities, performance issues, and financial matters
    • Partner with Nutrien Strategic Procurement and Legal on major IT contracts and transactions
    • Define, improve, and communicate purchase-to-pay processes for software, hardware, and services
    • Collaborate with IT partners to develop and participate in the management of software and hardware asset management

    • Proven leader that can build and sustain a high performing team

    Required Professional Qualifications and Education:

    • 10+ years of experience in procurement & vendor management, preferably in leadership positions
    • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
    • Preference given to those candidates with years of experience in IT outsourcing arrangements and purchasing/managing of IT software and hardware assets
