    The Senior Systems Analyst is responsible for architecting and designing solutions to meet specific business demands and ensuring integrity of design through to implementation of the solution.

    This role will be responsible for oversight of suppliers throughout detailed design process to assure solutions enable the Nutrien enterprise achieve a high level of systems integration, maximize the reuse of components, and empower the rapid deployment of solutions in response to business demand for change.

    Key Tasks:

    • Convert business requirements into a system design that will become the blueprint for the solution being created. 
    • Develop technical solution documentation specifying target solution
    • Assist in development of solution roadmap, aligned to enterprise IT vision in collaboration with Sr. Management.
    • Oversee and coordinate standards, guidelines and design of cross-functional enterprise applications.
    • Create and manage test plans to validate solution meets functional requirements
    • Collaborate with the broader IT community to ensure solutions align with enterprise target architectures and technology roadmaps

    Essential Qualifications:

    • University degree in engineering, computer science or business administration
    • 6-8 years related experience in IT
    • 2+ years in cross-domain Systems Analysis or Solution Architecture
    • Experience in solution design and delivery across the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
    • Expertise in manufacturing, continuous process manufacturing preferred (blending of formulas)
    • Expertise in mainstream ERP technologies
    • Solid understanding of business structures, processes and information flow for a global organization
    • Experience in systems development estimation and best practices in solution delivery
    • Technical and process expertise with facilitating integration with vendor/supplier resources
    • Subject matter expertise in business processes, solution design, best practices, and technology
