Reporting to the Mill Operations Superintendent, the Mill Operations Foreman is accountable for the operation of the refinery, loadout, storage facilities, tailings management and coordination of their functions with other departments. The Mill Operations Foreman is involved in various activities including department coordination, employee relations, leadership development, and the safety, supervision and training of employees.
Direct and assure compliance of all components of RSMS within Mill Operations.
Supervise personnel within his/her area of responsibility to ensure that safe and productive work is performed.
Assigns / schedules work and performs regular follow-up on work activities so crew personnel is working in an efficient and effective manner.
Performs required compliance checks, key procedure audits, area inspections.
Complete understanding of all mill operations, processes and equipment.
Strong leadership skills to help bring accountability to your team by creating a supportive and motivating work environment
Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills.
