    Key Tasks:

    • Responsible for plant operation (Z Train, Steam Boiler and DAP) within the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations.
    • Spot, inspect, load and unload railcars and trucks and complete required paperwork to release railcars and trucks from the plant within the EPA, Federal Railroad Administration (FRA), and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
    • Operates track mobile to move cars and sample products.
    • Performs startup, normal operation, shutdown and emergency situations within the Department.
    • Inspection and clean up of various equipment.
    • Prepares equipment for maintenance, performs troubleshooting and takes appropriate action to correct.
    • Operates Payloader, Manlift and other mobile equipment as necessary to perform all tasks of position.

    Skills:

    • Requires expertise in operating the area equipment within the standard operation conditions and ability to troubleshoot equipment problems. Must be able to work independently while coordinating work with the shift schedule. High school diploma or equivalent.
