    The E & I Engineer II continuously improves the reliability of all plants throughout the complex by studying and factoring the tradeoffs between cost and technical requirements into project design and implementation. The Engineer also demonstrates sound engineering decisions through utilization of industry standards and best practices. In this role you would report to the E & I Engineering Superintendent.

     

    Key Tasks:

    • Engineering support for plant Maintenance and Operations Teams.
    • Assist with Troubleshooting and Failure analysis of plant equipment.
    • Reviews equipment condition Checklists and Reports, recommending any corrective actions or further checks.
    • Develops and perform technical reviews for equipment modifications and upgrades.

    Skills:

    • Analytical / Problem solving.
    • Computer literate especially with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Good verbal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated competence in the design, operation and maintenance of the following systems- Power, Control, DCS, SIS and Instrumentation.

    Qualifications:

    • BSc in Electrical Engineering from a recognised university.
    • 7 Years experience in the Petrochemical Industry.
