Reports to the Maintenance Superintendent.

This position is located in Kennewick, Washington, U.S.A. and is not available for remote work.

What you will do:

  • Day-to-day safe and efficient execution of preventative, routine, and immediate maintenance requirements across Nutrien Kennewick
  • Assisting with the fabrication, installation, and maintenance of piping components and systems including steam traps, check valves, manual isolation valves, as well as fixed equipment such as tanks, towers, and exchangers
  • Provide input on preventative maintenance opportunities, provide input and updates on PM plans to ensure accuracy, and submit work requests to address abnormal conditions
  • Troubleshoot, plan and repair short notice, high priority work safely and effectively
  • Utilize SAP for daily maintenance activities
  • Active participation in team safety meetings, audits and Job Task Observation of peers

What you will bring:

  • High School Diploma
  • Excellent organization, interpersonal, communication and team skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Thorough understanding of the ASME & B&PV code requirement
  • Qualified or able to qualify at ASME B&PV Code section IX for welding carbon and stainless-steel pipe in all positions using SMAW and GTAW
